Do you provide installation support?
Our products are easy to install and remove. Each product has installation instructions included. Any mounts/clips, if required, are included with your order. However, if you encounter any issues, we encourage you to contact us and send us photos so we can assist you.
We also provide free installation at our office in Caringbah, NSW.
Will Snap Shades obstruct my view?
We have specially chosen a perforated fabric which does not block the driver’s blind spots. Snap Shades should be removed when vision is impaired.
Please note: visibility out of windows does differ for everyone and depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to: angle looking out, tinting and lighting/weather conditions.
Can I still wind my windows down with Snap Shades installed?
Absolutely! You still have functionality of your windows with Snap Shades installed. You can partially wind down the windows even when driving at reasonable speeds (approx up to 70 km/hr). We do not recommend windows to be wound down completely when the vehicle is in motion.
Please note: Our recommendation assumes you only have the rear door windows open partially when driving, it does not take into account other windows of the car or wind speed or direction.
How do I know if my vehicle requires Snap Shades with or without magnetic mounts?
Some vehicles require magnetic mounts for the installation of the shades as the car window frame has plastic/rubber trim (non magnetic). The magnetic mounts have double sided adhesive tape that sticks to the trim of the window frame. If required, magnetic mounts are included with your purchase.
What are Snap Shades made of?
Snap Shades are made of high quality mesh material with high strength magnets embedded in the shade frame.
Do Snap Shades fade and deteriorate?
We expect fair, wear and tear over time. However, as Snap Shades are installed on the inside of a vehicle, they are not prone to stretching, flapping and/or fading over time.
Who do you ship with?
We generally use Australia Post to ensure safe tracking and delivery of your order within Australia. We provide Australia Post/EMS and DHL International Express as options for international orders.
Can I pick up my order?
We are able to arrange collection of your order from our warehouse in Caringbah, NSW. Please contact us before placing an order online to arrange.
My item is on backorder, how long will it take for delivery?
If you have placed an order for an item on backorder, your order will be fulfilled once the item is back in stock. Please allow approximately 30 days for delivery. Please be aware that 30 days is an estimate only and delivery times vary. We ship all backorder items once we receive them in stock in our Warehouse.
Where part of your order is on backorder, your order will be fulfilled once the backorder item/s arrives back in stock.
Please contact us if you wish to obtain an update on your order or delivery estimate for your item.
My product has arrived damaged or faulty, what do I do?
If your product is delivered damaged or faulty, please contact us within 30 days of purchase with photo evidence of the fault. Please refer to our Return Policy for further details.
Please note: We may request the item be disposed of or returned to us at our discretion. We do not dispatch replacement shades until the damaged/faulty item is received back.
I have ordered the incorrect item for my car, what do I do?
If the product you have ordered and received is not the correct model for your car, please contact us within 30 days of purchase with photo evidence and we will organise to either refund or exchange the product for you. The customer will be responsible for return postage costs for return or exchanges relating to incorrect item/s ordered. Please contact us prior to placing an order if you are unsure which item best suits your vehicle. Please refer to our Return Policy for further details.
I have received the incorrect item for my order, what do I do?
If you believe the product you have received is incorrect for your order, please contact us within 30 days of purchase with photo evidence of the incorrect item and we will organise to either refund or exchange the product for you. When returning an incorrect item sent, a prepaid return label will be provided. We will not reimburse any postage costs paid should you not wait for a prepaid label to be authorised and provided.
